Adam Charles Roberts found eternal peace on March 21, 2015. Adam was joyfully welcomed into this world on August 30, 1987 by his mom, Lori Brooks, his dad, Howard Roberts, and his maternal grandmother, Elaine Hackbarth. Adam received his early education at Lincoln Elementary School in Green Bay, WI and moved to Wabeno, WI at the age of 9 with his mom and step-dad, Andy Brooks. He graduated from Wabeno High School in 2006 and was voted "best laugh in the class". There isn't a laugh like Adam's anywhere else in this world. The day after graduation he moved to Green Bay to be with his girlfriend, Marcie Raasch, to seek employment. He welded and fabricated farm equipment for Fritsch Equipment in De Pere, WI for 8 years. This was the perfect job fit for him, since he was obsessed with and began collecting tractors at a very early age. Adam was loved like a son by his employer, Ron Fritsch. Adam loved the same music as his mom and dad. He had a passion for classical rock music and a true appreciation for the classical music it was founded on. He had a great ear and taught himself how to play the guitar. If he liked a song, he would figure out how to play it and practice until it was perfected. As a child he spent many hours fishing, hunting, or just driving around in the woods with his step-dad, Andy. Adam could rig-fix ANYTHING, just by thinking about the process and finding something around the house to repair it. He made his little sister's training wheels a part for his first car and a piece of a Q-tip a part of his mom's electric can opener. Both worked for months after he "rigged" them. Adam loved his family, and had a very special and deep love for the first person to lay eyes on him: his grandma. He would do anything for her. Most of all, Adam loved his beautiful daughter, Madilyn (Maddi). She has a hole in her heart that will eventually be filled by the love of her mom, grandparents, and other family members who will share with her many memories of her dad for the rest of her life. Adam is survived by his daughter, Madilyn Roberts, father and step-mother, Howard and Kelly Roberts; mother and step-father, Lori and Andy Brooks; grandmother, Elaine Hackbarth; sisters, Alison (Josh) Shepard, and Courtney Brooks; step-sister, Mikayla Cisna; two step-brothers, Luke (Laura) Geiger and Brian (Katy) Schingeck, nephews, Joshua and Wesley Shepard and neice, Adeline Shepard. He is also survived by Maddi's mother, Marcie Raasch, her parents, Bob and Mary Kay Raasch, Marcie's sister, Lila Raasch, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Mona Roberts, Robert Hackbarth, and Beverly and Thurman Brooks, Sr. and his Uncle Thurman Brooks, Jr. Visitation will be held at Forest Larger Parish Presbyterian Church on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 28 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. R. Lee Jennings, Jr. officiating. A benefit account has been established at Bank Mutual for his 7 year old daughter, Maddi. Special thanks to Maddi's maternal grandfather, Bob Raasch, of Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano, for assisting the family with funeral arrangements. www.swedbergfuneralhome.com
