Adolph W. Quandt, age 93, of Shawano passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in Shawano. Born on March 6, 1925 in the Town of Hartland, he was the son of the late Willie and Leona (Boettcher) Quandt. On August 31, 1937, Adolph was united in marriage to Viola C. Teetzen at St. Jakobi Lutheran Church. She preceded him in death on June 26, 2010. The couple loved to travel and made to all 50 states. He is a member of Divine Savior Lutheran Church in Shawano where he was the former treasurer and a Sunday school teacher. Adolph enjoyed playing sheepshead with a few different card clubs.
Adolph is survived by: his daughter, Wava Quandt of Shawano; his son, Larry Quandt of Luxemburg; five grandchildren, Brandon, Duston, Larry, Jr., Emme, Lydia; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Eddie (Kathy) Quandt of Green Bay; one sister, Vaniatta Brusewitz of Bonduel; sister-in-law, Sandra Quandt of Bonduel; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Viola; his parents; three sisters, Ida, Celia and Dora; one brother, Lester; and twin siblings in infancy.
Funeral services for Adolph will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Divine Savior Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Kuehn officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the service.
