Agnes S. Styczynski, age 80 died peacefully at Maple Lane Nursing Home on Friday, June 7, 2013. Born on August 20, 1932 in Chase, Oconto County she is the daughter of the late Andrew and Verna (Dranzek) Jaworski. Agnes was employed at the Shawano County Hospital for many years; after retiring, she volunteered at the St. Elizabeth Hospital and the St. Bernard Parish in Appleton. She enjoyed watching racing and cooking shows, engrossing herself in many different crafts and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Once Agnes became a resident of Maple Lane, she stayed active with many activities and leaves behind many close friends. Agnes is survived by: her children, Theresa (John) Moede, Patrick Styczynski, Audrey (Dave) Cotton, Roman Styczynski, Timothy Styczynski, Alice (David) Marohl, Amy (Daniel Prusik) Clark; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; siblings, Florence Cleveland of Chicago, Paul Jaworski of Green Bay, Helen Tucholski, Wally Jaworski and Peter Jaworski both of Pulaski. She is preceded in death by: 2 children Patsy and Richard; a grandson, Joseph; her husband, Norbert; and 2 siblings, Clara Mauer and Joe Jaworski. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Len Evers officiating. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Inurnment will be in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
