"Aji" Leon Redfeather Caldwell, age 37, of Neopit, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at his home. He was born on June 6, 1982, in Minneapolis, MN, to Daryl Teller, Sr. and Charlotte Caldwell. Leon was a certified welder and electrician and was proud to have attended the Institute of American Indian Arts in Sante Fe, New Mexico. He was a talented artist and tattoo artist and his work will be cherished by family and friends. Aji loved to laugh and have a good time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children.

Aji is survived by: his children, LeTytia Hindsley of Neopit, Enaemaehkiw Caldwell of Crandon, Jace Nakutih of Keshena, Tenace Nakutih of Keshena, Cyrius Caldwell of Neopit, and Casheous Caldwell of Neopit; his parents, Charlotte Caldwell of Neopit and Daryl Teller, Sr. of Michigan; his siblings, Cheyenne (Scott) Caldwell of Green Bay, Daryl Teller, Jr. of St. Cloud, MN, Charlotte "Punkin" (Mike) Aubid of East Lake, MN, and Talon (Roxy) Bedeau of Keshena; his significant other, Justina O'Kimosh, mother of Cyrius and Casheous; also, Tanya Hindsley, mother of LeTytia and Enaemaehkiw, and Kim Nakutih, mother of Jace and Tenace; he is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many friends.

He was preceded in death by: the love of his life, Shiann Anderson; his sister Mabann Teller; and his best friend and brother, Eric John Stone Isham.

Traditional Menominee services will be held at St. Anthony Parish Hall from 3:00 pm on Thursday, July 11, 2019 until the procession leaves for Teller Cemetery at noon on Saturday, July 13, 2019, where Aji will be buried next to his grandfather, Steve Teller.
