Obituary

Alex Cox, age 24, of Keshena, unexpectedly entered the spirit world on December 17, 2016. He is the Son of Jana Cox and the late Edward Martin.  He attended Menominee Schools and graduated from Menominee Indian High School in 2008.
He was previously employed as a Table Games Operator and very much enjoyed doing his work. He also enjoyed playing cards, being in the outdoors hunting, fishing and being by the lakes.  Alex always was there to help his family with whatever they needed.  He was very proud of his Menominee Culture and was known to be a proficient Menominee Language speaker.
He is survived by his mother Jana and siblings; Arlen Cox, Sharon Martin, Elizabeth Torres, Michelle Martin, Brian Martin, numerous uncles, aunties and cousins. Also survived by special niece and nephew Arlin Cox Jr. and Alyssa Pamonicutt. The family would also like to recognize special friend Nicole Penass.
Traditional prayer service will be held at the family residence at 11:30am on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. Friends may call after 1:00 pm on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at N465 Chief Souligney, Warrington addition, Keshena until time of services on Tuesday.
