Alexander Elmer "Charlie" Martin, Jr., age 71, of Keshena, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021, in Appleton.  He was born on March 18, 1950, to the late Alexander E. "Chook" and Marie E. (Waukechon) Martin, Sr., in Keshena.  Charlie graduated from Shawano High School and attended trade school.  He enlisted in the United States Navy. After completion of his enlistment, he attended school in New Mexico and returned to Wisconsin in 1984.

Charlie is survived by: his children, Richard A. (Carla) Martin and Erin Martin; eight grandchildren, Cassidy, Alex, Dylan, Connor, James, Kaylee, Lylee and Myles; two great grandchildren, Mylah Waukau, and Aiyana Mae Martin; siblings, Wendall "Windy", Randall "Buckskin", Alexis "Lovey", Luanne "Anne" and Llewellyn "Moose".  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents and his siblings, John "Dusty", Mark, Wilmer, Doug, and several nephews.

A traditional prayer service will be held for Charlie at 1 pm on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the family residence, N849 E. County Line Road, Gillett (Located near the Thunderbird).  Military rights will be conducted by the Veterans of the Menominee Nation following service.  Visitation will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at the family residence and will continue until service on Thursday.
