Alice Louise Glatz, age 63, of Cecil, passed away on Monday June 19, 2023, in Shawano after a courageous battle with cancer. Alice was born in Shawano on October 28, 1959, to the late Leonard and Lois (Radtke) Sumnicht. She graduated from Bonduel High School in 1977. Alice received an associate degree in accounting at Green Bay Technical College. On May 17, 1980, she was united in marriage to Dave Glatz in Bonduel. Alice worked at Up and Running in Shawano and at Prairie Schooner in Cecil. She attended St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel. Alice enjoyed crafting, being outdoors, gardening and spending time with animals especially her dog Bella. She dearly loved her nieces and nephews.

Alice is survived by her husband of 43 years, Dave; children, Jesse (Loni) Glatz and Megan (Chris) Dillenberg; grandchildren, Gracie and Gavin Glatz and Lainey and Hattie Dillenberg, her everythings; siblings, Mary Marquette, Jim (Kathy) Sumnicht and Pete (Rhonda) Sumnicht; and mother-in-law Noraine Glatz. She further is survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Lois, and siblings, Judy, Joe, Willy, Diane and Tim.

A memorial service for Alice will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday June 27, 2023, at Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel with Dick Menning officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 am until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established.
