Alice Mae (nee Von Haden) Janssen, 84, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 in Shawano. She was born on October 31, 1928 in Tunnel City to Albert and Laurella Von Haden. On June 25, 1946 Alice was married to Lee Janssen. Alice loved to travel the world. She dedicated much of her life to family, in particular, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Those left to honor Alice's memory include: her children, Ruth Bonner, Dianne (Ron) Schmidt, Neal Janssen, David (Karen) Janssen; a niece, LaVona (Robert) Grissinger; grandchildren, Eric (Suzanne), Marc (Erica), James (Ashley), Scott (Jennifer), Katelyn, David, Jamie, Joseph (Eileen); and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Lee; her parents, Albert and Laurella; brother, Howard; and daughter-in-law, Teri. A graveside service will take place for the immediate family and close friends at Greenfield Cemetery in Tunnel City, WI.
