Obituary

Alice L. Stronach, age 101, of Green Bay, formerly of Landstad, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in Green Bay surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born on April 12, 1925, in Wisconsin to the late Erick and Palma Erickson. She graduated from Bonduel High School then attended beauty school. On September 29, 1946, Alice was united in marriage to James “Jim” Stronach; he preceded her in death in 1998. During the loving 51 years Jim and Alice owned the family farm in the Town of Angelica before selling and moving to Bonduel. She worked in Seymour, Bonduel and Pulaski areas until she owned and operated Alice’s Countryside Beauty Salon for 35 years. Alice was devoted and dedicated to Our Savior Christian Church in the Town of Lessor where she spent countless hours helping and assisting. She enjoyed playing cards with her Bonduel card group. Alice always loved visiting with her family and friends and was a kind and determined woman. Alice was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend; she will be deeply missed.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Mary (Dean) Reinke; granddaughters, Alisha (Jared) Huss and Karin (Erik) Lips; great-grandchildren, Logan Huss, Nolan Huss, Andrew Lips and Hannah Lips. She is survived further by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Alice is preceded in death by her son, Wesley Stronach; husband, Jim Stronach; siblings, Pearl Bruce, Hazel Behrendt, Art Erickson, Lester Erickson, Ervin Erickson and Elsie Krull; and parents, Erick and Palma Erickson.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Our Savior Christian Church in the Town of Lessor with Pastor Bill Tisch officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:30 am until the time of service. Inurnment will be held at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be directed to Our Savior Christian Church or St. Croix Hospice. Swedberg Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Blue Jay Springs assisting living staff, especially Heather, Jess and Conner. As well as the St. Croix Hospice staff, especially Amy, Christin, Eric, Alexia, Samantha, Tina and Chaplin Pastor Clive. A special thank you to Pastor Bill Tisch of Our Savior Christian Church.
