Alison Marie Waubanascum, age 63, entered into the spirit world on Sunday July 23, 2023, in Madison. Alison was born on May 9, 1960, in Keshena to the late Jaynell Fossum and Janet (Waubanascum) Sechrist. She moved to the Madison area at the age of 5 when diagnosed with Spinal Meningitis.

Alison is survived by her siblings, Gail Sechrist and Richard Sechrist and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Alison is preceded in death by her nephew, Craig Sechrist and parents Janet and William Sechrist Sr., brother William Sechrist Jr., biological father Jaynell Fossum and numerous Aunts and Uncles.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday August 1, 2023, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
