Alizah Rose Martin, age 17, of Keshena, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at her home. Alizah was born in Shawano on December 25, 1998 to Joseph and Aimee "Agoshee" (Doud) Martin, Sr. She was a junior at Menominee Indian High School where she enjoyed seeing her friends and her two favorite teachers, Lindsey and Tessa. She loved Pow-wow music, and was a member of Big Drum. She enjoyed nothing more than being with her family, and loved it when her aunties and uncles came to visit.

Alizah is survived by: her parents, Joseph and Amiee Martin, Sr. of Keshena; her siblings, Joseph, Jr., JayLynn, Anthony, Aiden and Acelin; her grandparents, Peter and Lynette Martin, Jr. of Keshena, Pamela Grignon of Keshena, and Bernard (Laura) Doud, Jr. of Zoar. She is further survived by her great grandparents, Diana Thunder of Zoar, Cecil Grignon of Shawano, and Bernard Doud, Sr. of Lac Du Flambeau; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends including two very special friends, Juan and Shaneka .

Traditional services will be held at the Zoar Ceremonial Building from 4:00 pm on Friday, June 10, 2016 until the procession leaves for the Zoar Burial Grounds at 2:00 pm Sunday, June 12, 2016.
