Allen Robert Hartwig, age 62, passed away on Monday January 16, 2023, in Shawano. He was born on April 3, 1960 to the late Arthur and Jeanette (Finger) Hartwig.  Allen was united in marriage to Rita Reedy on Jan 6, 1987. Allen was always a hard worker and made it a point to be working whenever he could, whether it was around the house or in his career of construction. In his free time, he was devoted to his grandchildren and especially loved going on trips with his granddaughter Shannon. He also loved fishing and cooking. Allen made the best homemade pizzas that everyone in the family could enjoy. He was also known to tell quite a few jokes, even if some of them were a hit or a miss. He will be missed dearly by those who knew him.

Allen is survived by: his wife, Rita; his daughters, Lacey Estes and Elizabeth "Betsy" Hartwig; his grandchildren, Shannon Estes, and Azula Estes; his siblings Cynthia, Terry, Harrison, Gwendolyn, Laura, Norma and Henry Jr. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded by his parents Arthur and Jeanette.
