Althea M. Harrington Althea M. Harrington, age 73 of Green Bay, passed away Monday, September 26, 2011 in Green Bay. Born on May 2, 1938 in Neopit, she was the daughter of the late George and Sarah (Boyd) Warrington. Althea worked at the Shawano High School and at the Menominee County Coordinator's Office. She enjoyed doing word puzzles, playing scrabble and playing cards, especially Pedro. Althea was loved by all and will be greatly missed by her family. Althea is survived by: her daughter, Sara Skenandore of Green Bay; 2 grandchildren, Billy and Dustin; 2 sisters, Lois Warrington and Rosemund Hoffman; and several nieces and nephews. Althea was preceded in death by: her parents; and 7 siblings, Kenneth, Glen, Burton and Royal Warrington, Constance Warrington, Maxine Hoffman, Portia Warrington, Georgia Pastarino and Gloria Warrington. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Robert Rank officiating. Entombment will be in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Shawano. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8pm and on Wednesday after 9am until the time of the service. A Parish Wake service will be held on Tuesday at 7:30pm. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Ruth Warren, the staff at ManorCare West, Marya, and the staff of Heartland Hospice.
