Ann Bruggink, age 64 of Oconto Falls, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014 at King Street Group Home in Oconto Falls. Born on July 14, 1949 in Sheboygan, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Leona (Navis) Bruggink. Ann was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Shawano and was an active participant of the Special Olympics. She was also active in the Oconto County Handicapped Citizen's Association, a former member of the ARC and was retired from New View Industries. Ann was a social butterfly and loved visiting with people. She also enjoyed bowling and camping. Ann is survived by: her sister, Debbie (Michael) Neitzel of Waterloo; 5 nieces and nephews. Melissa (Dennis) Krajewski, Drew (special friend, Mandy) Hessil, Kyle Neitzel, Kryssa Neitzel, Kelly Neitzel; 5 great nieces, Rachelle, Lindsey, Christine, Hannah, Olivia; a great nephew, Trey; and 2 great great nieces, Zoey and Kaidence. Ann was preceded in death by: her parents; and a sister, Mary Bruggink. Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Susan Phillips officiating. Inurnment will be in the Lake Drive Cemetery in the Town of Wescott. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00pm until the time of the service.
