Anna "Anne" Rose Redmond, age 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 17, 2022 in Shawano, surrounded by her whole family. Anne was born on May 4, 1929 to the late George and Lena (Hoffman) Neumeier in Gresham. She graduated from Gresham High School in 1947 and lived in Gresham all her life. On June 16, 1956, she was united in marriage to James "Jim" Redmond in Gresham. They were married over 63 years until his passing. Anne enjoyed bowling, playing cards and raising her family. She also enjoyed cooking and going to the casino. Anne was a member of St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Gresham.

Anne loved and cared for her family with her whole heart, always putting others before herself. Her gentle, welcoming spirit and loving heart was evident to all who knew her. She will be sorely missed here on earth, but we hold onto the hope promised by God that we will one day reunite with her, along with Dad, in Heaven.

Anne is survived by her children, Kris (Joe) Hodgson of De Pere, Pat (Teresa) Redmond of River Falls, Becky (Mark) Dillenburg of Shawano, Jackie (Rick) Dorshorst of Waukesha, Wendy (Paul) Ainsworth of Shawano, Amy (George) Craig of Green Bay, John (Lori) Redmond of Ripon, Barb (Welk) Mendoza of Gresham and Brian Welk of Gresham. Barb was like mom's 6th daughter and Brian like her 3rd son. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Anne is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Anne is preceded in death by: her husband Jim, parents and 10 brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 22, 2022 at St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church of Gresham with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at 9:30 am until the time of service at the church. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
