Anna M. (nee Mulry) Sperberg, age 49 of Shawano, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 8, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born on September 24, 1963 in Whitehall in Trempealeau County, she was the daughter of Blanche (Padour) Mulry and the late Douglas L. Mulry. Anna was a graduate of the Shawano High School class of 1981. On August 18, 1984 she was united in marriage to David Sperberg. Anna was a dedicated wife and mother who enjoyed supporting her son and his many sport activities. She volunteered for over 22 years at the Red River Riders and went above and beyond to help the program. Anna loved her annual trips to Eagle River for the snowmobile races. She loved music, especially 80's music and listening to her niece play the trombone. Animals played a large part in Anna's life and she was happiest when her furry friends were close by. Anna was an avid Badger, Packers and Brewers fan. Anna is survived by: her husband, David; her son, Caleb; mother, Blanche Mulry; and 7 siblings, Patty Mulry, Brian (Mary) Mulry and his children, Charity, Erin and Tim, Gregg (Ken Multhauf) Mulry, Brenda (Louis Desprez) Mulry and their daughter, Johanna, Dan Mulry, Mary Mulry and Sheronne Mulry. Anna is further survived by: the Sperberg family, Leo (Jane) Sperberg, Dan (Bonnie) Sperberg and their sons, Travis, Kyle and Sean, Duane Sperberg and his children, Dillon, Sammi and Desi, Don (Bonnie) Sperberg and their children, Jesse (Bonnie), Tyler, Alex and Brittany, Dennis Sperberg; great nieces and great nephews; and the family dog, Duke. Anna was preceded in death by: her father, Douglas Mulry; her brother, Terry Mulry; her maternal grandparents; her paternal grandparents; 5 aunts; 7 uncles; and her beloved dog, Lucky. Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Salem United Methodist Church in Red River with the Rev. Jerry Cho officiating. Burial will be in the Salem United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg funeral Home in Shawano on Friday from 4:00-8:00p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:00a.m. until the time of the service.
