Annette Belle Brussow, age 97, passed away on Saturday July 15, 2023, in Shawano. Annette was born on September 28, 1925, to the late Arthur and Alice (Gardner) Bruette in Red Springs, WI. She attended high school in Sturgeon Bay. In 1962, Annette was united in marriage to Dwain Brussow who passed away in 1979. Annette spent a lot of her time traveling the world and lived in many US States with her first husband who served in the Air Force. For the last 25 years, Annette has made her home in Shawano County. She was part of the Stockbridge Munsee tribe and was very active in the community.

Annette is survived by her daughter, Jean Baer; her sons, Samuel Brussow, and Paul (Penny) Brussow; seven grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Matthew, John, Gina, Sam Jr., and Adam; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Annette is preceded in death by two sons; Scott and Mike; her brothers and sisters, Eunice Stick, Felix Bruette, George Bruette, Jeannett Bruette, Wesley Bruette, and Betty Kirmse; and her grandson, Loren.

Family and friends may gather at 1:30 pm for Annette's burial at 2:00pm on Monday July 17, 2023, at Red Springs Cemetery.
