Obituary

Anthony Mark Corn, “Big Tone”, age 52, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, in Green Bay. Born on June 28, 1974, raised by Carrie and Leon Skenandore, born to Carrie Corn and Melvin Peters. He graduated from Menominee Indian High School and went on to join the United States Marine Corps. After being honorably discharged, Anthony was united in marriage to Jessie Madosh in September of 2002. He went on to have a long career in construction after attending college and worked the longest with Pheifer Brothers Construction. When Anthony wasn’t working, he loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and cutting wood. You could always find him spending time with his family and was known for his voracious sweet tooth. His mother’s sweets were never safe around him. Though Anthony portrayed himself as tough, he was a sweetheart and a softy. He loved to be anywhere that he was needed and always gave his time to those he loved. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend.

Anthony is survived by, his parents, Carrie and Leon Skenandore; his father, Melvin Peters; his wife Jessie Corn; his children, Bryce (Megan Lau) Corn, Seth Corn, Alyssa (Kyle Lyons) Corn, Kay-Li Corn, Aubrey Corn and Renita Corn; his grandchildren, Avani Lyons and Raymond Draghi III; his siblings, Daryl (Deneane) Wilber Jr., Chad (Shanice) Wilber Sr., Thomas (Jody) Corn, Cheyenne Yaiser, Ashley Sanapaw and Russel Peters; his god parents, Ron and Deb Corn; his godchildren, Dalen Corn and Adam Wilber. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews; his special aunts and uncles who helped raise him; other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, Brittney and Taylor Peters; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Joyce Corn. His is preceded in death by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

A traditional native funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the Carrie Skenandore residence, W2872 Dodge Rd. Keshena, WI 54135, Ron Corn Jr. will be officiating. Visitation will begin on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the family residence starting at 11:00 am until the time of service on Monday. Military Honors will be conducted by the Veterans of the Menominee Nation following the service at the residence.
