Anthony "Reiter Boy" Reiter, age 71 of Keshena, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 in Appleton. Born on September 4, 1941 in Keshena, he was the son of the late Antone and Alegria (Dick) Reiter. After attending high school, Anthony enlisted with the United States Army and was stationed in Germany for three years. After his discharge, he worked in the maintenance department for the Oneida Tribe of Wisconsin in the casino until retiring. In his younger years, he was an avid boxer and has been a big time card player his entire life. Anthony enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, spending time at the casino and listening to George Jones music. Anthony was especially proud of his 30+ years of sobriety. He loved to joke, play around and tease his nieces and nephews. His carefree spirit will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Anthony is survived by: 4 children, Dori Jo, Marla Jean, Tony Perez, Tina Reiter; numerous grandchildren; special friend, Ferletta; 4 brothers, Randolph (Laurie) Reiter, Guy M. Reiter, Sr., Arden (Carol) Reiter, Sr. and Rudolph B (special friend, Iris) Reiter all of Keshena; 6 sisters, Donna (Bob) Burkel of Keshena, Selene (John) Jackson of Milwaukee, Patricia (Tony) Martin of Appleton, Yolanda (Lyle, Sr.) Toutillott of Milwaukee, Ava Fowler of Keshena, Frizty Reiter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Keshena with the Deacon Bobby Doxtator officiating. Visitation will be held at the St. Michael Parish Hall on Wednesday from 9:00am until the time of the service. Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano is assisting the family with the arrangements.
