Ardelle Faith Kucksdorf, age 81 of the Town of Herman, passed away Friday, March 01, 2013 at a local nursing home. Born on January 28, 1932 in Caroline, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Martha (Buelter) Ferg. On December 23, 1950 she was united in marriage to Harvey Kucksdorf at the Lutheran Indian Mission Church. Ardelle was a member of the Elias Lutheran church and was active in the Extension Homemakers. In her free time she enjoyed tending to her beautiful flower gardens, doing crafts, baking and cooking Ardelle is survived by: her loving husband of 62 years, Harvey; her daughter, Betty (Ricky) Rosenow; her son, Randall (Annette) Kucksdorf; 6 grandchildren, Wendy (Clayton, Jr.) Nooyen, Allen (Jessica) Rosenow, Darla (Jeremy) Graham, Bill (Jessica) Kucksdorf, Kari (Matt) Heesacker, Kelly (Dean) Berna; and 8 great-grandchildren, Caleb, Hailey, Casey, Spencer, Victor, Dexter, Gabrielle, Garrett. Ardelle is further survived by: a brother, Donald Ferg; 2 sisters-in-law, Diane Kucksdorf, Marlene Ferg; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ardelle was preceded in death by: her parents; 2 brothers, Stanley Ferg, Kenneth Ferg; a sister, Jane (Roger) Opperman; a sister--in-law, Alice Ferg; and a brother-in-law, Rueben Kucksdorf. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the Elias Lutheran Church in the Town of Herman with the Rev. Dennis Creswell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
