Ardith Barnes age 73, of Keshena, passed away peacefully on Friday July 18, 2025. Ardith was born on June 20, 1952, in Shawano to the late Floria Barnes.

She was a very kind and loving woman; her thoughtful gestures and words resonated throughout her life. Ardith was known to be an excellent friend to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a big reader, especially People Magazine; and would enjoy warm days in the sun, riding the Gator with Darwin, baking, enjoying time spent with her grandson and enjoying life. Fall and Christmas times were her favorite, and she loved her animals and adored her family.

Ardith is survived by her significant other, Darwin Martzke; daughter, Lori Barnes; stepchildren, Dustin Martzke and Dotty (John) Bauer; grandson, Chandrick Daney, step-grandchildren, Jayden Bauer and Jared Bauer; siblings, Roberta Grignon, Toni (Ken) Bundick, Mario Munõz, and Kristie Munõz. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Ardith is preceded in death by her mother, Floria Barnes, and sister Laurie Barnes

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday August 15, 2025, at Swedberg Funeral Home with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
