Arlene M Reda's Obituary
Arlene Myrtle Reda, age 86 of Shawano, died on Sunday, October 7, 2018 in Shawano. Arlene was born on April 28, 1932 in Stetsonville, WI, daughter of the late John and Frieda (Schultz) Meschefske. After high school, she attended Teacher's College in Medford before attending UW-Madison, where she received her Master's Degree. Arlene was a reading specialist in Ladysmith and then a 4
th
grade teacher at Sacred Heart School in Shawano. She loved teaching 4
th
graders because they were eager and enthusiastic about learning. At the age of 66, she retired. She love being outside doing yard work and gardening. Arlene also enjoyed reading, listening to classical music and the news on NPR.
Arlene is survived by: her daughter, Amy Reda of Shawano; son, David Reda of Nevada; and one grandson, David.
She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.
Private family services were held.
