Arthur A. Breutzmann, age 93 of rural Clintonville, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Shawano Medical Center. Born on June 20, 1918 in the Town of Belle Plaine, he was the son of the late Martin W. and Meta (Schachtschneider) Breutzmann. On June 14, 1947 he was united in marriage to Delores Bartz at St. Martins Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Together the couple owned and operated a century dairy farm in the Town of Belle Plaine. Delores preceded him in death on August 25, 2000. Arthur was an active and faithful member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church-Pella Opening where he was custodian for many years and attended Bible Studies. He was also active as a 4-H Leader while his sons were growing up. In his free time, Arthur enjoyed woodworking, growing flowers, feeding and watching the birds from his kitchen window, and fishing with his grandson. Arthur is survived by: his two sons, David Breutzmann of Brooklyn Park, MN, Daniel Breutzmann of Clintonville; and a grandson, Daniel Breutzmann II. Arthur was preceded in death by: his wife, Delores; his parents; and a brother, Herbert in infancy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church-Pella Opening with the Rev. Todd Jerabek officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Friday from 6-8pm and at the church on Saturday after 10am until the time of the service.
