Obituary

Arthur "Pat" Ekleberry, age 98, of Zachow, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016. Arthur was born in Richland Center, Wisconsin on April 22, 1918, to the late Dow and Minnie (Robinson) Ekleberry. In May of 1940, Pat was united in marriage to Lelia Walsh. Pat worked as a cheese and butter maker for Graf Creamery for many years. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, refinishing old furniture, watching the Packers and auto racing, and visiting with family and friends.

Pat is survived by: two children, Mary Beth (Joe) Czarneski of Green Bay and Bernard (Michelle) Ekleberry of Denver, CO; nine grandchildren, Anne (Steve) Stemper, Amy Graetz, Tom (Tonya) Charneski, Aaron (Christine) Ekleberry, Denise (Tim) Eckardt, Bonnie (Jerry) Schweiner, Dick (Donna) Czarneski, John Czarneski, and Dennis (Mary Jo) Czarneski. He is further survived by numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by, his wife, Lelia, four brothers, and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel with Pastoral Minister Carolyn Steeno officiating. A private inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
