Aupaumut Bosie Dess and Marcella Meadow Dess, passed away on May 18, 2024, in Antigo, Wisconsin. They were the son and daughter of Peqtahseh Dess and Schuylar Davids. Mom and dad were able to spend a precious hour and half together with Aupaumut and Marcella in their arms. Even in  their early stage of life, their resemblance to their siblings was undeniable. The parents' big boy and petite little girl will be dearly missed and not forgotten by their family.

Aupaumut and Marcella are survived by their parents, Peqtahseh and Schuylar; siblings, Peqtahseh Dess, Jr., and Lakelynn Dess; maternal grandparents, Rachel (Rex) Binns and Jason (Kristen) Davids; paternal grandparents, Kemawin Dess and Robert Dess; maternal great-grandparents, Lanell (Rex) Thorne and Sharon (Bill) Davids; paternal great-grandparents, Molly (Lloyd) Miller and Marilyn Dess; and aunts and uncles, Caleb Davids, Jacob Davids, Adyson Davids, Diondre Shawano, Wahpahnesew Shawano and Blaze Dess. They are survived by numerous cousins, other relatives and family friends.

Aupaumut and Marcella are preceded in death by great-grandfathers, Jerry Shawano, John Dess, Sr., and James Paiser.

A celebration of these tiny lives will be held at a later date.
