Avery Brian Coyhis, age 16, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022, in Green Bay. He was born on February 6, 2006, to Sloane and Kasha (Miller) Coyhis in Antigo. Avery had many interests including video games, listening to music and camping with his family. He was an employee of McDonalds in Wittenberg. Most of all, Avery enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and his dog, Ozzy.

He is survived by his parents, Sloane and Kasha Coyhis; sister, Ella Coyhis; grandparents, Mary and Wally Miller and Brian (Donna) Coyhis; and aunts and uncles, Mark Coyhis, Cody Miller, Rose (Nate) Strege and Lychelle Johnson. He is further survived by numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Avery is preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy Coyhis.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 21, 2022, at the Stockbridge Elderly Center with Pastor Ernie Geeting officiating. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham from 4:00-8:00 pm on Thursday and again at 11:00 am on Friday until the time of service at the Stockbridge Elderly Center. Burial will take place at the Stockbridge Burial Grounds.
