Barbara E. Bordeau, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at her home in Shawano. Barb was born in White Lake on March 16, 1935, to the late Donald and Gertrude (McDonald) Bricco. On November 19, 1953, Barbara was united in marriage to John Bordeau at St. James Church in White Lake. John preceded Barb in death in 2002. Barb was a strong woman and a very open person, she loved meeting new people and enjoyed trying new things. Barbara worked as a teacher's aide for many years before she and John opened Bordeau Campground which they operated from 1971-1995.  Barb enjoyed music and she played the organ at the church in White Lake for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed playing slots at the local casinos and even took numerous trips to Las Vegas throughout the years. She was a wonderful mother and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Barb is survived by: her significant other for the past 17 years, Dennis Kainz; her children, Diane Lewis, Deborah Bordeau and Daniel (Deb) Bordeau; a grandson, Shaun; and a step-grandson, Jeremy.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three brothers, Bill, Ron and Jim.

Services are being planned for this spring with inurnment in St. James Cemetery in White Lake.
