Barbara J. Lyons, age 87, of Keshena, passed away on Tuesday September 23, 2025, at her home. Barbara was born on April 20, 1938, in Shawano to the late Francis and Etola "Toby" (Christensen) Boivin. She lived in Keshena for most of her life and worked for Menominee Social Services for 33 years. Barbara enjoyed crafting and collecting ceramic angels.

Barbara is survived by her children, Lynn Unterburger of Green Bay, Jeanne Lacourt of St. Cloud, Minnesota and Richard (Kerry) Hawpetoss of Green Bay; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Francis (Joyce) Boivin, Jr., and Roger (Beverly) Boivin; and brother-in-law, James Riendeau. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends, Sharyn and Chris Szczech.

Barbara is preceded in death by her son, Michael Lacourt; daughter, Sharon; former husbands, Dennis Lacourt, Eugene "Gilly" Hawpetoss and Joseph J. Lyons; brother, Robert "Micky" (Margaret) Boivin; sister, Brenda Riendeau; son-in-law, Robert Unterburger; and parents, Francis and Etola.

A Funeral Mass for Barbara will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday October 3, 2025, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Keshena with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday starting at 11:30 am until the time of service. Burial will be held at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery following the service.
