Obituary

Barbara Ann Radloff, 84, of Cecil passed away peacefully on Monday, August 17, 2026 in Shawano. Barbara was born in Shawano on January 27, 1942, daughter of the late Earl “Kenneth” and Marcella (Kohn) Heller. On January 11, 1962 Barbara married Donald Radloff in Cecil. The couple farmed and raised three children together. Barbara was a talented quilter and enjoyed embroidery, she stitched everything by hand and never used a sewing machine. She enjoyed canning and baking and was famous for her pineapple fudge at Christmas time. She was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in the Town of Washington where she taught Sunday School for many years. Barbara was a humble, happy woman who never complained. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be deeply missed.

Barbara is survived by: her husband of 64 years, Donald; her children, Amy (Tim) Engel, Cindy (Jerry) Konitzer, and Ricky Radloff; two grandchildren, Christine (Bradley) Rudie and Joshua (Jacquelyn) Engel; eight great grandchildren, Lauren and Ryan Rudie and Tiffany, Emma, Mitchell, Kathryn, Myles, and Teressa Engel; a sister, Noreen Christianson; sisters-in-law, Virginia Heller and Lois McClone; and brothers-in-law, Ron (Vicki) Gauerke and Robert Radloff. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Nancy Gauerke, Jack Heller, and Sue Busch, and a brother-in-law, Tom McClone.

A funeral service for Barbara will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church-Town of Washington at 11:00am on Saturday, August 22, 2026 with Rev. Craig Nehring officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
