Barbara A. Talley, age 59, of Pella, passed away on July 2nd, 2014, in Green Bay due to a late discovery of advanced cancer. Born on October 21, 1954 in Milwaukee, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Dell Steffen. Barb married and 17 years later was widowed to the late Jim Talley. She was a surgical nurse for over 20 years, an accomplished horse enthusiast, water skier, snow skier, Packer fan and local gym frequenter. She was more fit and active than most people half her age. She enjoyed traveling, exploring and was a student of anything healthy. She was the best of mothers, a considerate, empathetic, intelligent woman who was never afraid to get her hands dirty. She was a shining example of humanity for us all and she is already wholly missed. Barb is survived by her son Jeff Talley and his son Jim Talley, and also her daughter Jennifer Tavernier (Oregon) and her two sons, Payton and Tyson. A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16 2014 at the Hope Community Church in Shawano with Rev. John Anderson officiating.
