Bart Allen Basin, Jr., age 30, started his journey unexpectedly on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Bart was born on March 14, 1996, in Antigo, to Bart A. and Raymonda (McGeshick) Basina, Sr. He loved music, played the flute and played in the drum group in middle school. Graduated from Menominee High School. Bart enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father and spending time with his family. He loved life and was always happy. He was an avid Milwaukee Bucks fan. Bart was a wonderful father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and friend.

Bart is survived by children, Star Basina, Deja Basina and Avery Basina; parents, Bart, Sr. (Lynn) and Raymonda; and siblings, Brent, Nathaniel, Breyen, Lita, Amanda, Jessica, Dillon and Melissa. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Bart is preceded in death by his son, Bart Basina, III; grandfather, Varlin Basin, Sr.; grandmother, Delia R. (Wilber) Basina; and auntie, Deena Marie Basina.

A funeral service will be held at 5:30 pm on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Visitation will be at the funeral home starting at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 14, 2026, until the time of service.
