Beatrice M. Messner, age 75, of Sheboygan, died on Wednesday, June 29, 2016. She was born on March 14, 1941 in Keshena, the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Ahkenokosay) Cook. Beatrice was married for 18 years to Jerome Messner Jr., who preceded her in death. She loved watching General Hospital, and would never take calls during that hour. Beatrice was an avid Packer and Brewer fan.
Beatrice is survived by: her children, Ellie (Bruce) Meyers, Jerry Messner, Jr, and Judy Messner all of Sheboygan and Roger (Jacki) Messner of Blythe, GA.; nine grandchildren, Bruce III, Jason Elizabeth, Amber, Joelle, Trisha, Nick, Julia, and Roger Jr.; and three great-grandchildren, Anthony, Agustin, Jr, and Savannah. She is further survived by one brother, Warren "Buddy" (Anita) Kaquatosh of Keshena; two step-sisters, Beverly Klemp of Eagle River and Mickoleen Kormann of Sturgeon Bay; one step-brother, Harold (Darlene) Price of Bowler; and two sisters-in-law, Ione (Rabideaux) Cook and Kay (Rabideaux) Cook; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Jerome; her parents; one sister, Veronica Phalen; and three brothers, Albert, William, and Michael.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Keshena with Rev. Joel Jores officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Melissa Cook residence located at W2865 Morrin Street in Keshena on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 4:00 pm until the procession leaves for the church on Wednesday. A Parish Wake service will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2016.
