Benjamin Louis Demaskie, age 42 of Shawano, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 in Appleton. Benjamin was born on July 8, 1976 in Kewaunee, the son of Dan Demaskie and the late Linda (Qualey) Demaskie. He graduated from Bowler High School in 1995. Ben was an outstanding drummer; his heart, talent and passion for music was unmatched. He played for Low-One with his brothers Dave and Adam as well as other members, Bug Madsen and Dave Prellwitz from 1997 – 1999, then from 1999 – 2001 with Midian and finally 2006-2008 with Mr. Slate. After his music career, he enjoyed wrestling for Packerland Pro Wrestling. He met many new friends and made tons of fans, young and old. Ben was an unwavering, loyal friend and bandmate and will be extremely missed by those who knew and loved him.
Benjamin is survived by: three children, Sabrina, Dustin and Ivy all at home; his best friend and his "stuff", Angel Miller; his dad, Dan (Else Marie) Demaskie of Cloverleaf Lakes; two brothers, David (Kerry) Demaskie and Adam (Tami) Demaskie; his nieces and nephews, Kimmilei, Kaleb, Willow and Ezra. He his further survived by several aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Linda as well as several aunts and uncles.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Elias Lutheran Church in Gresham with Vicar Lois Graper officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service. Following the service there will be a pot luck gathering with a celebration of life at the Angel Miller Home, W11499 W. Town Hall Rd. in Gresham.
