IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bernard
Brisk
March 30, 1962 – December 22, 2025
Bernard Brisk, age 63, passed away on Monday December 22, 2025, in Shawano. Bernard was born on March 30, 1962, in Cook County, Illinois to the late William Wiggens and Delia Brisk. In his younger years he was a Golden Gloves boxer for Howard Mac. He was an active fisherman who truly lived his life to the fullest, finding his greatest joy in the outdoors. Fishing was more than a pastime to him; it was a passion and a way of life, and all he ever wanted to do was spend his time on the water or out ice fishing. He also loved hunting and being surrounded by nature, where he felt most at peace. One of his proudest joys was teaching his children and grandchildren how to fish and ice fish, patiently sharing his skills, stories, and love for the sport. Through these moments, he passed down not only his knowledge, but also his appreciation for family, tradition, and the simple joys of life, leaving behind memories that will be treasured forever. He enjoyed Packer games with his large group of family and friends.
Bernard is survived by his children, Lisa (George Swett) Waukau, Bernard (Rachel Johnson) Brisk and Brianne (special friend) Brisk; special daughter, Mandy Brisk; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous siblings; and special brother, Chris Deloney. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bernard is preceded in death by numerous siblings; and parents, William and Delia.
