Bernice Ann Montoure, age 78, of Wittenberg, formerly of Tilleda, passed away in Wittenberg on Saturday, April 10, 2021. Bernice was born on November 3, 1942 to the late Benjamin and Eva (Hoppe) Kraft in Tilleda. She was a registered nurse and worked at multiple hospitals including Shawano Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital, Bellin Hospital, and St. Vincent's Hospital. She lived most of her life in Shawano and in Seymour. She later retired in 2004 while in Seymour and moved to Antigo. Bernice was formerly a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Tilleda, and later became a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Antigo. She assisted in teaching Sunday school and confirmation classes. Bernice loved sewing as well as painting with watercolors and oils.

Bernice is survived by: her children, Bonnie (Wendell) Lee, of Hawaii, and Glenn (Grace) Montoure, of Suring; her 6 grandchildren; and her 9 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her parents; and siblings Leslie Kraft and Rev. Kathleen "Kathy" Kraft.

A graveside service for Bernice will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at  Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Tilleda with Rev. Lois Graper officiating.
