Betty Louise Cook Bloemers, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in Neenah. Betty was born on March 10, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Alex and Ann Przekurat. On August 18, 1962, she was united in marriage to Harris Cook. The couple spent 20 years together before his passing in 1983. Betty worked at Citizens Bank, Frontier Communications, Pioneer Bank and Menominee Casino. She was a kind soul and never spoke a bad word about anyone. Betty was a selfless, loving, caring, forgiving, compassionate, and amazing woman with a strong will and determination.  She was an inspiration to those around her. Her family meant everything to her and she cherished every moment with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her children, Mark Cook, Susan (fiancé, Gary Eberhard) Cook, John Cook, Charlene Cook, Joyce (fiancé, Chris Doering) Raeder and Mary (fiancé, Michael Szafranek) Meyer; grandchildren, James, David, Nicholas, Michael, Dana, Skyeler, Sr., Christopher, Nathaniel, Daniel, Jacob, Mayson, Miranda (Daniel) Pollnow, Tristain (Amanda) Cook, Kass, Jerald, Emma, McKaeyla (Jordan) Cook  and Paxtyn; and great-grandchildren, Cody, Niko, Christian, Damien, Scarlett, Sebastian, Chloe, Tori, Lukas, Isabella, Skyeler, Jr., Ava, Mazie, Victoria, Carter, Bradley, Henry, Nevaeh, Willow, Josephine, Kinsley and Theodore. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Harris Cook; daughter, Judith Cook; sisters, Leona and Dorothy; and parents, Alex and Ann.

A funeral mass for Betty will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday May 25, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano with Fr. Edward Looney officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the service.
