Betty Lee Stock (nee Morris), age 95, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, died Monday, July 19, 2021, at The Cottages on Golden Pond in Shawano, Wisconsin. She was born on June 29, 1926 in Booneville, Indiana. She was a graduate of Washington High School in Milwaukee. On June 3, 1946, she was united in marriage to the late Jr. William Stock. Betty Lee is survived by six children, Thomas (Sue), Nancy S. Simoneau, Robert (Nancy), William (Gertie), James (Lisa), and Alexander (Jill); twenty-three grandchildren, Barbara (Roy), Robert (Katia), Melanie, Thomas (Katie), Cara, Sara (Michael), Katie C. (Chris), Amy, Katrina, Andrew, Chelsea (Justin), Abigael (Matt), William, Ava, Gunnar, and Gretchen; and fifteen great-grandchildren, Chloe H., Cade, Jake, Miles, Emma, Bridget, Evan, Colin, Veda, Sloan, Chloe G., Gabriel, Maxwell, Silas, and baby Wallrich.
Betty Lee worked at the Steak Knife restaurant as a waitress in Wauwatosa for many years. She was also a cook at the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and was employed in the kitchen at Lakeview Hospital.
Betty Lee participated in her community in many ways over the years including den mother at Burbank Elementary School, PTA President at Burbank Elementary School, President of the Lutheran Ladies of Martin Luther Church, volunteered at the Lutheran Home for the Elderly, was a member of the Harmony Singers, and was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church for 35 years.
She was an amazing mother and grandmother, loved dogs, played in a bridge club for over 60 years, collected cardinals, and enjoyed spending time in her backyard. Betty Lee greeted everyone with her warm and welcoming personality and was especially happy when surrounded by her family.
A private memorial with immediate family will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Woods National Cemetery in Milwaukee. Interment following the memorial.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the charity of your choice.
