Obituary
Beverly J. Goering, age 86, of Cecil, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in Shawano. Beverly was born in Milwaukee on October 18, 1931, daughter of the late Elmer and Dorothy (Schuttenhelm) Hermann. She graduated from Pulaski High School and then attended Wisconsin Technical School of Nursing. On September 15, 1951, Beverly was united in marriage to Frederick Goering in Milwaukee. The couple lived in Milwaukee for many years before moving to Cecil in 2003. Beverly was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and P.E.O. Sisterhood in Green Bay. In her free time, Beverly enjoyed reading and doing word puzzles.
Beverly is survived by: her husband, Frederick; daughter, Sandra Billies of Charlottesville, Virginia; son, Mark W. Goering of Porterfield, WI; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Billies and Jennifer Goering; and one great-granddaughter, Zoey Moss.
She was preceded in death by: her daughter, Deborah; her parents; and two brothers.
Memorial services for Beverly will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano with Rev. Scott Ludford officiating. Inurnment will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. Visitation will be held at the church from 1:30 pm until the time of the service on Sunday.
Memorials may be directed to Shriner's Hospital.
