Beverly Mae Monroe, age 73 of the Town of Washington, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013 in Appleton. Born on October 21, 1940 in Milwaukee, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Sybella (Loppnow) Earsley. On November 24, 1982 she was united in marriage to Glenn Monroe in Port Washington. Bev worked as a secretary for Warren-Nett Realty and also worked at Wal-Mart. She had a warm heart and truly enjoyed life. She also enjoyed traveling and loved the company of her cherished pets. Bev was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Town of Washington. Bev is survived by: her husband, Glenn; her 5 children, Mike (Terry) Haas, Kim Haas, Tom (Dawn) Haas, Bill Monroe, Jeff Haas; stepchildren; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley (Frank) Evens. A memorial service will be held at 12:15pm on Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Steven Pockat officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00am until the time of the service. A second memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, November 18, 2013 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg.
