Beverly Jean Pyatskowit, of Shawano, formerly of Keshena, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023, in Shawano. She was born on November 20, 1966, in Shawano, to the late Walter and Delores (Peters) Pyatskowit. She graduated from high school in Green Bay, and pursued her education at the University of Arizona, where she earned a degree in social work. Beverly worked in Arizona for several years before returning to the Menominee Reservation 15 years ago. In her free time, she enjoyed arts and crafts, and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Emily; two grandchildren; her siblings, Lauren Sowa, Laronna Wing, Rose Waupoose, Lee Pyatskowit, Melvin Pyatskowit; and her foster family, Michael, Tim, Pat and Dan, and Tammy. Beverly is further survived by her beloved dog, Spirit, along with numerous other relatives, and special nieces and nephews, Trisha, Diane, Ashlyn, Anthony, Summer, and Angel.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Delores; her siblings, Val, Verene, Cassandra, Bruce, Tom, Porky, Lynn, John; her foster parents, Ray and Janet Burke.

Visitation will be held beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at the Lee Pyatskowit residence, at N1207 Spirit Island Road (off of VV), in Keshena. The final viewing will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Lee Pyatskowit residence.
