Bonna Verbruggen, age 70 of Shawano, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 in Appleton. She was born in Shawano on February 2, 1948, a daughter of the late Fred and Lenora (Laude) Krueger.  Bonna loved cooking, canning, baking and making candy for her family and friends.  She was good at sewing, often making clothing, Barbie doll clothes and mending items for her family.  Bonna enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading and bird watching; however, over the last few months, she became a Netflix junkie.  Bonna always looked out for the needs of others and was often the caregiver for her family and friends.

Bonna is survived by: her children, Joel Howard of Shawano, Angela (Chad) Wiegert of Englewood, FL, Eric (Kathleen) Howard of Shawano and Alicia Verbruggen of Shawano; grandchildren, Morgan, Paige, Nathan, Aubrey, Caresse, Nicholas, Bryce, Ethan, Kayden and Bodie; and seven great-grandchildren.  She is further survived by her siblings, Diane, Rojene, Vicki, Audrey, Allan and Brian.

She was preceded in death by: one son, Lance Howard; her parents; one sister, Kim Marie in infancy and one brother, Gary krueger.
