Obituary

Brook Gardner, age 49 of Green Bay, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 in Madison. Born on January 12, 1963 in Tigerton, he was the son of Ralph and Lena (Besaw) Gardner. Brook worked as a roofer and was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Wilderness. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing. Brook is survived by: his significant other, Diane Doxtator; his son, Brandon (Laura Bartels) Gardner of Kewaunee; 4 grandchildren, Ethan, Adrian, Jada, Griffin; his parents, Ralph and Lena Gardner of Bowler; a sister, Karleen (Michael) Gumm of Plymouth; 3 nephews, Wayne Doxtator of Green Bay, Cody and Devin Gumm of Plymouth; and numerous nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Brook was preceded in death by his brother and best friend, Adrian "Kenny" Gardner. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the Lutheran Church of the Wilderness in Bowler with the Rev. Melinda Shriner officiating. Burial will be in the Stockbridge Indian Burial Grounds in the Town of Bartelme. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham on Monday from 4-7pm and at the church on Tuesday after 10am until the time of the service. www.swedbergufneralhome.com
