Bruce Allen Kassube, Jr. age 51, passed away on January 21, 2022, following a great effort to survive from his motorcycle accident. He was born on May 15, 1970, to Bruce Allen Kassube Sr. and the late Sylvia Annette Stamm in Sumter, SC. Bruce attended St. James school and Shawano High School. He worked in construction most of his life and found his place hanging drywall. He enjoyed skiing, motorcycle riding, and especially hanging out at the lake. Even though he lived a lot of life before he had his daughter, Faith, being her dad was his happiest, most proud accomplishment.

He is survived by: his daughter, Faith; father, Bruce Allen Kassube, Sr.; sisters, Jean (Jeff) Baumgarten, Pattie (Tim Marciniak) Kassube, and Carla Kassube; cousin, John (Tara) Kassube; nieces, Stephanie (Keith) DeBoth, Jacquelyn DeBoth, and Gwendolyn DeBoth; nephews, Sydney Kassube, Timothy (Nicole) Utke, and Jatinder Singh; uncle, James Stamm and God-daughter, Precious Kassube. He is further survived by cousins in Texas, Ohio, and South Carolina, and friends.

Bruce is preceded in death by: his mother, Sylvia; grandmother, Dorothy Soldier; great-aunt, Margaret Stamm; aunts, Kandace Kassube-Brown, and Lois Pacifico; and uncle, Charles Stamm.

He never got to meet his grandmother, Dorothy, but we hope she knows him now. He is also survived by the rest of the Soldier family who he wanted to meet so much.

A memorial service for Bruce will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Pastor Phil Engle officiating. Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a college fund will be established for his daughter and donations may be directed to Pattie Kassube.

Those who knew Bruce understand that he never stood on formalities, so please casual attire is perfectly acceptable.
