Bruce (TA) Douglas Leifermann, age 63, of the Town of Washington, passed away unexpectedly on May 2, 2016 at his home. He was born September 9, 1952 in Lake Crystal, MN, the son of Roberta A. Ofenbeck (Queen) and Joseph A. Leifermann. He graduated in 1970 from Appleton East High School and went on to work in the service industry for more than 30 years. He was united in marriage to Mary Jo Fredrickson on February 29, 2002 in Jamaica. He had a strong passion for riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed relaxing at home listening to his favorite tunes with family and friends.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; his three children Adam Leifermann, Eric (Katie) Leifermann, and Ariel (Cody) Bookmiller; two grandchildren, Evan and Emmalynn; a sister Gail Johnson; his mother-in-law Joan Fredrickson, sister-in-law Lynn (Mark) Timm, and brother-in-law Doug (Amy) Frederickson; and many other relatives and friends.

Bruce was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Roberta (Ray) Ofenbeck and his father and stepmother, Joseph (Alyce) Leifermann and his father-in-law Roger Fredrickson.

In lieu of a funeral service, Bruce had requested a Celebration of Life that will be held by the family at Lucky Dog'z Bar and Banquet Hall 157 S. Green Bay Rd., Neenah, WI 54956 on Saturday May 21, 2016 starting at 2pm. Thank you to Swedberg Funeral Homes for assisting the family with the arrangements.
