Burdette Bill Burr, age 85, passed away on Saturday October 4, 2025, in Green Bay. Burdette was born on November 18, 1939, in Shawano County to the late Louis and Mary (Gardener) Burr. He attended Gresham High School and went on to serve his country proudly in the United States Army. Burdette was a talented craftsman when it came to carving totem poles and peace pipes. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother.

Burdette is survived by his children, Amy Burr, Hope Burr, Henrietta Peters and Jill Gonzalez; grandchildren, Robert, Brooklyn, Louis, Boston, Douglas, Paul, Bobbie, Jennifer, Alisha, Shara, Corey, Miriah and Rosa; great-grandchildren, Leondro, Lionel, Levon, Leo, Emma, Allie, Brielle and Brady; he was the 12th of 16 siblings, Donna, Jermain, William and Robert. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Burdette is preceded in death by his daughter, Ellen; his parents Louis and Mary; and siblings, Ralph, Boyd, Berga, Leona, June, Lou, Jeanette, Jeremiah, Buddrow, Gordon and Sydney

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday October 7, 2025, at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor Roy Rinehard officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service. Military honors will be conducted by the Mohican Veterans. Burial will be held after services.
