Carl Joseph "Carlie" Kaquatosh Sr. age 82, of South Branch, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016. Carl was born on September 10, 1934 in Keshena, the son of the late Sylvester and Rachel (Gristeau) Kaquatosh, Sr.
Carl worked on the carriage at the mill in his early years of life.
Carl liked fishing at the falls and going hunting for small and big game.
Carl was united in marriage to Crystal A Johnson, on November 8, 1952, she preceded him in death on October 2, 2007.
For most of his life Carl lived in Milwaukee.
He went to M.A.T.C for welding classes.
Carl worked mostly at Fabrication Metals which is located on 124
th
and Capitol Drive.
Carl is survived by his three daughters; Clara J. Kaquatosh, Linda M. Haapala and Cheryl A. Galan Martinez of South Branch and one brother Warren "Buddy" (Anita) Kaquatosh Sr. of Neopit.
He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Crystal A. Kaquatosh, his daughter Carol Bressette, two sons, Carl J. (Gloria) Kaquatosh Jr. and Jack J. Kaquatosh, grandson Michael Haapala, his parents , Sylvester and Rachel Kaquatosh Sr., two brothers; Raymond (Evelyn) and Sylvester Jr. and three sisters; Rose (Al) Curry, Patricia (Anthony "Mike") Ponfil and Marsha (John) Hezcko.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Neopit with Rev. Joel Jores officiating.
Burial will be in church cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Neopit Community Center from 4:00 pm, Thursday, December 8, 2016 until the time of the services.
