Carol Bigelow, age 82, of Green Bay, passed away on Saturday October 11, 2025, in Shawano. Carol was born on October 25, 1942, in Milwaukee to the late John and Margaret (Orth) Blasweiler. On August 31, 1961, she was united in marriage to Gerald Bigelow in Milwaukee. Carol was a planner any family event or holiday she always made sure the event was amazing. She was a baker and made sure nobody went home hungry. You could find her sitting on the beach in the sun with her flip flops and sundress when the weather was just right. Carol loved her family and made many memories with them. She had a bubbly personality and always could strike up a conversation with anyone. Carol had a great sense of humor and always wanted everyone to have a good time. She was very caring and made sure everyone else was taken care of. Carol loved to be on marketplace, selling many items. She had a close relationship with God and loved going to her church, Life Church in Green Bay. Carol was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Carol is survived by her husband of 64 years, Gerald; children, Cheryl Bigelow and John (Bonnie) Bigelow; grandchildren, Tawny (Adrian Tetting) Casey, Jacob (Amber Schlies) Bigelow and Adam (Rachael) Starks; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Carmen and Hunter; and cousins, Chris Orth O'Neil, Jane Neil, Patti Orth Quart, Randy Orth and Ron Orth. She is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday October 15, 2025 at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until the time of sharing. A time of sharing will be held from 6:00 pm until 6:30 pm on Wednesday October 15, 2025, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano.
