Obituary
Carol Lee Chambers, age 73, of Shawano, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017. Carol was born on December 31, 1944 in Shawano to the late John and Elsie (Radtke) Braatz. On January 11, 1964, Carol was united in marriage to Herbert Chambers, Jr. at St James Lutheran Church in Shawano. Herb preceded her in death on January 18, 2016. She lived in Shawano all her life, was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and worked at CRI for several years.
Carol is survived by: two daughters, Dawn Chambers-Troia of Shawano and Jodi (Mike) Winkler of Little Suamico; four grandchildren, Sam, Ryan and Ben Winkler and Parker Troia; and one sister, Betty (Ken) Lohrengal of Shawano.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herb; a granddaughter, Katherine; her parents; and one brother, Daniel.
Funeral services for Carol will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano with Pastor Mark Baldwin officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
