Carol Sue Hess, age 65 of Gresham, died on Saturday, October 13, 2018 in Appleton. Born on November 4, 1952 in Gresham, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Vera (Hoffman) Hess.  Carol worked at Eagle Knit Sewing factory in the cutting and sewing department.  Later, she worked as a cashier at North Star Casino.  Carol was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Gresham.

Carol is survived by: two brothers, Donald "Donny" Hess of Grafton and Lester (Sandy) Hess of Gresham; sister-in-law, Virginia Hess of Shawano; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Corey, her parents and two brothers, Edward and Leonard "Sleepy" Hess.

Private services were held. Inurnment is in Zion Rest Cemetery.
