Carol Hoffman, age 91, passed away on Good Friday peacefully at her home in Gresham on April 18, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 7, 1933, in Town of Waukechon to the late Julius and Mrytle (Raasch) Raddant.

On September 4, 1954, Carol married the love of her life, Clyde "Ike" Hoffman in Wausau. Together, they built a life rooted in love, family, and hard work. Carol had a strong work ethic- she was a payroll clerk for 20 years at Hoffman Transit, milked cows at Hoffman Homestead for 10 years and later worked as a cashier for 17 years at Gresham Townmart.

Carol devoted her life to caring for others. Alongside raising her own family, she also lovingly raised her two younger brothers after the passing of their parents. She found joy in the simple things- sewing, reading, solving crossword puzzles, and creating Raggedy Ann dolls. One of her greatest pleasures was gathering her family every Sunday evening for dinner in her cozy little green house, a tradition that became the heart of many cherished memories.

Carol is lovingly survived by her children, Jeffrey (Julie) Hoffman of Gresham, Randle (Ann) Hoffman of Gresham, Joey (Chris) Hoffman of Gresham and Vicki (Scott) Cerveny of Gresham; 19 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Jo Ann Wood, Bernette (Walter) Schultz, Janalle Brooks, Jewel (Sharon) Raddant and Larry (Loretta) Raddant; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Ike in 2018; parents, Julius and Mrytle; grandparents; siblings, LaVerna Krause Barrick and Reginald Raddant, Leland Raddant, Vernon and Darlene in infancy; brothers-in-law, Robert Krause, Donald Barrick, Gene Wood and Terrance Brooks; and sister-in-law, Joyce Raddant

Keeping with Carol's wishes a private family burial will be held at Roosevelt Cemetery in Gresham.
